This work is a spin off of the Sticks & Stones Series. Instead of using name-calling as my inspiration, I am using slang from all generations (primarily Gen Z). The words are hand cut from Japanese paper and are stitched onto the photograph. Some of the titles of the  works in the Sticks & Stones series are taken from the  written inscriptions found on the photos themselves (either on the front or the back). All of the photos have been rescued from second hand shops and vintage stores. I see this project as a way to give these women new life, new meaning, and perhaps speak to more women through this project.
